Any rules?
Just a few. No high heels, no smoking, and no spray sunblock. What’s included? There will be a cooler with sparkling water, sodas and waters included in each charter. Can we bring alcohol? Yes, you may bring your own beverages alcohol or non. Your welcome to bring a small cooler if you’d like, preferably a soft cooler, or add your drinks to ours. Do you provide food? We do not, but platter options can easily be added to your outing, info here Can we bring food? Absolutely, but it needs to be something that easy to serve and easy to handle as there’s not a lot of serving or table space. Do you have glassware on the boat? We keep a supply of basic biodegradable cups on the boat. We typically discourage glass on the boat for safety reasons, but if you plan on enjoying a nice a bottle of wine and would like to bring some stemless glasses that’s okay. Is there a stereo? Yes, with SiriusXM and Bluetooth connectivity. What should we bring? Sunblock (refer to first rule), towels if needed, and warm clothing if your out during the morning or evening hours. |
Can we get picked up at a location other than North Tahoe Marina?
Yes, if you have a private dock or are near one of the few public docks. Lake water levels, location and weather may be factors in determining if it is okay to pick up at private docks. Please call to make reservations if a different pick up/drop off location is desired so we can determine if it will work, deadhead fees may also apply depending on distance from our home base. What’s you cancellation policy? A 3% processing fee will apply to cancellations. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled charter will be subject to a 50% penalty. Refunds will be issued back to the credit card used to make the original reservation. Guests will not be penalized for cancellations due to wind or weather. How many people can fit on the boat? The Goose is a Coast Guard approved charter boat for 12 guests. Yes, an infant counts as a guest. Is the boat pet friendly? We are dog lovers, but it’s just not a great boat for pets. Service animals are permitted. Does the boat have a restroom? Yes, it is small but clean and functional. The holding tank is very small however, so we encourage guests use the restroom on land before getting on the boat. Are there any shoes that cannot be worn on the boat? No high heels or soft black soled shoes. Also, please try and not wear shoes/sandals that are filled with sand as it's very hard on the boats. The boats are also barefoot friendly. What's the Difference between Wild Goose II and Wildwood? Both boats are similar with only slight differences. Same make, size, capacity & price. The main difference would be location, Wildwood is located at Sierra Boat Co in Carnelian Bay and Wild Goose II is at North Tahoe Marina in Tahoe Vista. In the photos section, Wildwood has a white roof. |
